Privacy and Data Protection Policy

Kuaderno Solutions S.L. (“Kuaderno” or “the company”), taxpayer ID B95798252, protects personal data in accordance with the Spanish Organic Law for Data Protection and the Regulation on Security Measures, and has duly registered with the Spanish Agency for Data Protection. Information about protection of personal data is contained in this Privacy and Data Protection Policy.

Requested data and right to access: Personal data will be requested in order to set up licences for end users and to communicate with users about students’ progress. Once Kuaderno accepts the data, the user gives his or her consent for the data to be automatically handled and, if necessary, ceded to third parties in order to provide the Service. The personal data will be handled automatically and included in their corresponding automatically-generated files. The manager of the files (Kuaderno Solutions, S.L.) will comply with the duty of secrecy regarding the files’ contents.
Purpose of data collection: The purpose of the collection and automatic handling of personal data is to manage, administer, provide, expand and improve the Services that the user decides to use within Kuaderno as well as the adaptation of the Services to the users’ preferences and taste, the study of users’ use of the Service, design of new services, sending of periodic reports and Service updates, sending – both by electronic and traditional means – technical, operative and commercial information about products and services by or through Kuaderno currently and in the future, and sending of surveys that the user is not obliged to answer.

The user guarantees that the personal data s/he provides is true and the user is responsible for communicating any modification to the personal data. The user will be solely responsible for any damage or prejudice, whether direct or indirect, caused to Kuaderno or a third party due to filling out forms with false, imprecise, incomplete or out-of-date data. Kuaderno has taken the necessary and state-of-the-art measures to prevent the alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorized access to personal data. However, the user must be aware that Internet security measures are not impregnable. Should the user provide data belonging to other people, it will be assumed that the user has express permission from those people or their legal guardians in the case of minors, and Kuaderno will presume that the data has been provided by its owners who will have been previously informed of the contents of the Privacy Policy. The user providing the data will be solely responsible for any damage or prejudice, whether direct or indirect, caused to Kuaderno or a third party due to filling out forms with false, imprecise, incomplete or out-of-date data.
The user may exercise the right to access, cancel, rectify, oppose or revoke this consent by sending an email to info@kuaderno.com and identifying him or herself.

Kuaderno will never publish users’ profiles or individual data. Kuaderno will fulfill the necessary confidentiality as concerns personal data. Kuaderno may store and use the IP addresses of users of this web site in order to analyze traffic, administer the service and carry out follow-up of the portal’s use as a whole. Kuaderno will never associate IP addresses with identifiable personal information. Kuaderno may use web analysis services (for example, Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, Inc. with headquarters in Mountain View, CA, USA or similar tools) to facilitate the analysis of users’ use of the website. The user can reject handling of this data or information by rejecting cookies in the appropriate configuration of the Internet browser. Payment by debit or credit card in Kuaderno are processed securely using encoded, safe connections (https) and with the security technology of the Stripe platform, headquartered in San Francisco (USA) or the technology of the payment platform PayPal, provided by PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. & Cie, S.C.A. headquartered in Luxemburg. Kuaderno does not store any credit or debit card information on its server. Charges are processed through the secure platforms of Stripe or PayPal, which are PCI compliant as well as using a double-authentication factor to avoid fraud.
Cookies: The portal uses cookies. Cookies are physical files of information stored on the User’s device which facilitate the User’s navigation in the portal. The user can configure his or her browser to block the installation of these files.
